TYPES OF FSSAI LICENSE REGISTRATION

FSSAI Basic license

All owners of small food businesses are eligible for the FSSAI registration. Particularly, an FBO may apply for the basic registration if its annual turnover is up to 12 lakh. In other words, the operator of a food business must register with registration Form A if the business's yearly turnover is less than 12 lakhs.

FSSAI State license

If an FBOS has a yearly revenue of 12 lakh rupees or more but is not covered by schedule 1 of the FSS regulations from 2011 should apply for a state licence to continue functioning. The food business operator must submit State License Form B if the company's yearly revenue is between 12 and 20 crores.

Central FSSAI license

For food business owners who operate in multiple states and are governed by Schedule 1 of the FSSAI regulations from 2011, the central licence is necessary. To obtain a central FSSAI licence, FBOS must also have a yearly revenue of at least 20 crores. The owner of a food business must submit Central License Form B.
